Happy Haloween

Yesterday we turned our clocks back an hour, went to Church and then just sat around the house visiting with folks all day. . 

Today it was just a glorious day and we did a lot of yard work  just enjoying the great weather.  

It may rain tonight, sure hope so as we need the rain. 
Here it is 9 o'clock and we have only had 5 or 6 trick or treaters.  They don't come out here to the country much.

Little on the cool side today, down in the 60's but other than that very nice. Here is a picture of Mary and I after we finished in the woods yesterday.
I reckon we will have to turn the clock back an hour tonight too. ----- Kuzn Les

Wood cutting day today

Well, today was another right pretty day and we decided to cut a little firewood.
I used to cut 3 cords of wood in about 4 hours without straining but now 1 cord a day is all I want. The weather was beatiful and it was real nice working in the woods. It took about 3 hours to get a cord cut, split and hauled to the house. A vine caught Mary and scratched her lip a little.

Another nice day today, but we sure could use some rain.  If it don't rain tomorrow I am going to have to cut firewood for when it gets cold.  It won't be long now till we will have to turn on the heat.

Harse Family Wedding

This picture was taken at our youngest son's wedding on the 17th of september /05 To give you a who's who, I will start with the back row from the left........ Jim Hall and wife, Terri Harse/Hall, Louis Harse, Alan Harse, Al Harse sr., Doug Smith, Leeanne Harse/Smith Clint Smith, and Shawna Smith. Front row, Jaime Miller/Harse and Noah Harse(Lou and Jaime's son), Louise and James Hall(Terri's), Marilynn(grama Squirt)........ There you go, Missing is Alan's wife Carrol and son' s Ethan, Caleb , and daughter Emily,as it was her daughters wedding on the same day as Lou's, and about 20 miles apart, and she had a hard time splitting her self for both weddings ..... (P/S) When I get some good pictures of Al's kids and wife I will forward them too.......Al and Squirt...................

Here it is Sunday already, it is cool down here, only about 66ºF today. What is going on up in your kneck-o-the-woods.

Getting cold down south

Temp was down to 82ºF today. going down into the 50's tonight. Cuzn Fred Faber in Cambridge says they have had a couple of nights with frost on the punkin already.

Yesterday we broke the Hi temp for Oct. 19 at 89ºF, (39ºC) today it only got up to 87ºF, (31ºC).
