Weather here is still nice.

Well, our Thanksgiving is just a few days away and the weather is still very nice.  The temperature today was 72ºF (22º C) and we have only had one frost so far, tonight it is to be 52ºF (11º C).  I reckon winter will be upon us pretty soon, but it isn't here yet.  I guess some of yall have had snow already.  Anyway, just thought I would let yall know.

I don't have any family news from the Canadian side, but my Granddaughter just had our 18th great grandchild, it is a girl, YEP.

 

Hello all, we have closed our cabin for the winter.

Hi all, yep, we have closed the cabin for the winter so maybe I will be able to update this blog more often.  We were able to get everything in pretty good shape, we just lack finishing the ceiling in the downstairs bedroom.  There is a link to the pictures of the cabin on our main webpage at http://lesbarker.com  I will try to take some more of the surounding area next year.  We had our first frost last Tuesday night, but it is back in the 70s in the daytime and hi 50s and low 60s at night.
